Local Thames Author D E McLean has chosen Otautu Bay for her soap in The Coromandel Series.
Dianne says " I love Otautu Bay. It holds so many wonderful memories for me of going there every summer for our family camping holiday.
The bay is beautiful, as are most locations in this special part of the world. I remember swimming in the calm still waters of the bay, no surf, imagining myself to be a dolphin or a mermaid. The steep mountains looked as though they towered right over the bay, but they must have been further away than I remember.
The nights were magical, especially if the tide was in and the waves were lapping onto the shore. The quietness and the stars overhead filled the bay with an ethereal peace that was truly healing, even though as a child and teen I didn’t really understand just what the power of nature was doing.
I guess the elements that call to me the strongest after all these years are the stars at night, the cool breeze off the water, the depth and stillness of the sea and the wonderful mountains.
This beautiful pure white soap has top notes of Asian lemongrass, dune grass, and daisy petals; followed by middle notes of gardenia bloom, ylang ylang, and clove leaf; sitting on base notes of blond woods, amber sands, and sheer musk.
We are sure you will fall in love with this gorgeous Otautu Bay Saop.
